This Grenache Citrus Cooler is the perfect balance of vibrant flavors and light effervescence. The bold yet smooth character of Grenache pairs effortlessly with the tangy richness of blood orange juice, a splash of Aperol for a touch of bitterness, and a fizzy finish from club soda. It's a wine cooler with an elevated twist, perfect for sipping as an aperitif at your next gathering. 

Ingredients:

  • 4 oz Grenache, chilled (Day 15 Advent Wine)
  • 2 oz blood orange juice (freshly squeezed if possible)
  • 1 oz Aperol
  • Splash of club soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Dried Orange, for garnish (optional)
  • Fresh rosemary, for garnish (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Glass: Fill a glass with ice cubes to chill.
  2. Mix the Drink: In a cocktail shaker or mixing glass, combine the chilled Grenache, blood orange juice, and Aperol. Stir or shake gently to combine the ingredients.
  3. Add Fizz: Pour the mixture into the prepared glass and top with a splash of club soda. Stir lightly to combine.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Garnish with a dried orange and a sprig of rosemary for a burst of color and festivity. Serve immediately and enjoy!
