Pulled Pork Sliders

These pulled pork sliders are tender, saucy, and just the right amount of smoky-sweet. The richness of the pork gets lifted beautifully by the 2023 Balance of Powers Rosé Wine, whose bright notes of pomegranate, red currant, and citrus zest cut through the savory flavors and refresh the palate. It’s a relaxed, crowd-pleasing pairing that works just as well for casual gatherings as it does for holiday hosting. Basically — comfort food, but make it effortlessly elegant.

Ingredients:

  • 2–3 lbs pulled pork (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce (smoky or tangy style works best)
  • 12 slider buns
  • 1 cup coleslaw (store-bought or your favorite recipe)
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted (optional — for toasting buns)
  • Pickles, for serving (optional)

Steps:

  1. If using pre-cooked pulled pork, warm it in a skillet over medium heat and stir in barbecue sauce until heated through.
  2. If desired, brush the insides of the slider buns with melted butter and toast lightly in a pan or under the broiler.
  3. Assemble sliders by adding a generous scoop of pulled pork to each bun.
