• Ingredients:
• 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
• 1 medium apple, finely diced
• 1 tsp butter
• 1 tsp brown sugar
• ¼ tsp cinnamon
• 1 small wedge brie, cut into small cubes
• 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
• Honey (optional, for drizzling)

Steps:

1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment.
2. In a small skillet, sauté diced apple with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon for 3–4 minutes until softened. Cool slightly.
3. Cut puff pastry into ~1.5 inch squares.
4. Place a small cube of brie and a spoonful of spiced apple in the center of each square.
5. Fold edges slightly inward or leave open-faced — your choice.
6. Brush with egg wash and bake for 12–14 minutes, until golden and puffed.
7. Drizzle with a touch of honey before serving (optional).
8. Pour a glass of Fortune Favors Chenin Blanc — the wine’s gentle sweetness and bright acidity balance the buttery pastry perfectly.
