Isa D'Aniello worked with In Good Taste to completely overhaul the wine brand's labels. Each of the five labels was designed to reflect the identity and significance of the wine. The inspiration ranges from art-deco Italian signage to natural off-kilter floral design. The wines feel utterly unique within the range, proving that the design was inspired strictly by the flavors and notes within.
In conjunction with a company rebrand (completed by brand agency, The Brand Leader), direct-to-consumer wine company In Good Taste executed a complete overhaul of its wine brands and labels.
The creative team crafted 5 new wine brands - Andiamo, Passport Wines, Unprecedented Wines, Wild Child, and La Pluma - with cohesive brand identities, stylized photography, and label systems. Andiamo highlights the brand's Italian wines. An ode to Art Deco Italian signage, the Andiamo logo is as classic as the wines inside the bottles.
The product photography is clean and luxurious, meant to embody the feel of an Italian cafe. Passport Wines feature some of the most loved varietals from one of the oldest wine-growing regions in the world - France. French wines can often be intimidating, but this brand is anything but. Friendly, airy, and romantic, Passport Wines is meant to invite drinkers in. Similar to classic French wine labels, the Passport labels are cream beige, but with a modern twist by adding pops of color.
Unprecedented Wines, In Good Taste's signature collection, is anything but ordinary. Inspired by some of the lighter moments of 2020 and beyond, this brand aims to bring some satire and levity into an otherwise dark time. A play on everyone’s favorite overused saying of 2020…”unprecedented times”, this logo is inspired by a newspaper masthead. Product photography is simple, dark, and slightly moody - a juxtaposition to the copy on the bottles themselves.
Wild Child is the most fun and vibrant brand in the In Good Taste portfolio, and showcases more unique wine varietals. The logo and product photography reflect the fun, slightly off-kilter nature of the brand. The Wild Child labels serve as collectible art pieces that vary by varietal. Organic shapes and textures are used to create a custom representation of each wine’s tasting notes, profile, and terroir. La Pluma means "feather" in Spanish, and this brand is home to In Good Taste's lightest-bodied wines. The La Pluma logo is inspired by calligraphic feather plume pens, with classic thicker down strokes, and thinner upstrokes. Product photography for this brand is light like the wines, with feminine and romantic styling.
