Ingredients:

• 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp baking soda
• ¼ tsp salt
• 1 tsp ground cinnamon
• ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
• ¾ cup granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ½ cup orange juice
• Zest of 1 orange
• 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
• ½ cup powdered sugar
• 1–2 tsp orange juice

Steps:

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
3. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla, orange juice, and orange zest.
4. Gradually fold in the dry ingredients until just combined, then gently fold in cranberries.
5. Pour batter into prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
6. Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
7. Mix powdered sugar with orange juice to make a glaze and drizzle over the cooled loaf.
8. Serve slices with a glass of 2023 Mr. B Pinot Noir to enjoy a fruity, zesty, and elegantly balanced pairing.
