Carne Asada Fries

Loaded, indulgent, and packed with bold flavors, these carne asada fries are the ultimate crowd-pleaser. Wild Child's Spicy Rosé brings a playful heat and bright berry notes that stand up to the seasoned beef and cool, creamy toppings without missing a beat.

Ingredients

  • Frozen or fresh-cut fries
  • Flank or skirt steak
  • Olive oil
  • Garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper
  • Shredded cheese
  • Sour cream
  • Guacamole
  • Pico de gallo
  • Jalapeño slices
  • Fresh cilantro

Steps

  1. Season steak with olive oil, garlic powder, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper. Grill or sear on high heat 3–4 minutes per side. Rest and slice thin.
  2. Cook fries according to package directions until crispy.
  3. Layer fries on a large tray or skillet. Top with cheese and return to oven until melted.
  4. Pile carne asada over the top.
  5. Finish with sour cream, guacamole, pico de gallo, jalapeño, and cilantro. Serve immediately.
