All the best parts of a Caprese. Ffresh mozzarella, ripe tomatoes, and basil tossed with peppery arugula and al dente pasta in a bright lemon vinaigrette. Fortune Favors' Chardonnay brings ripe apple, subtle oak, and creamy texture that complements the mozzarella and balances the peppery greens.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz short pasta (fusilli, penne, or farfalle)
  • Fresh mozzarella, torn or cubed
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Arugula
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • For vinaigrette: olive oil, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic, salt, pepper

Steps

  1. Cook pasta to al dente. Rinse under cold water and drain well.
