Creamy Garlic Shrimp Pasta

This creamy garlic shrimp pasta is indulgent yet simple, with tender shrimp and a luscious garlic cream sauce. The vibrant tropical fruit and citrus blossom notes of the Buena Vista White Wine Sonoma County 2023 beautifully lift the richness of the dish, creating a harmonious and festive pairing perfect for holiday dinners.

Ingredients:

12 oz fettuccine or linguine
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 cup dry white wine
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Lemon wedges, for serving

Steps:

Cook pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
Season shrimp with salt and pepper. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and cook shrimp 2–3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove shrimp and set aside.
In the same skillet, add garlic and sauté 1 minute until fragrant. Deglaze with white wine and simmer 2 minutes.
Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese; simmer 3–4 minutes until slightly thickened.
Return shrimp and pasta to the skillet; toss to coat. Garnish with parsley and serve with lemon wedges and a glass of Buena Vista White Wine

Serves 4.
