This fun white wine is actually a mutation of its namesake, Pinot Noir. It can be a tough grape to grow and enjoys cold weather and high altitudes. At its best its a floral, zesty white wine with a rich body. Try subbing out your Pinot Noir and give its cousin a shot!

I was very surprised by this wine. What a crisp and light taste, with very unique minerality. Well balanced, not tart and not sweet.
I have actually never had this variety before, and ewas sad to learn that it is somewhat rare or hard to find in my region! I'll be ordering more minis of this one to keep on hand.
